Nashville, TN, April 24th, 2022 — JumpCrew, a B2B customer acquisition company that integrates marketing with sales to help businesses reach their revenue goals, announces the expansion of its leadership team as part of its growth strategy, appointing Mark Corley as Chief Operating Officer, and Dan George as Chief People Officer. In these roles, Mark will oversee JumpCrew’s sales and marketing delivery teams to help the company focus more on ensuring the best customer experience and driving results, and Dan will lead the People team to architect and execute talent strategy, including defining the future of work for JumpCrew’s hybrid workforce
The addition of these executives will allow for the organization to further mature its offerings to clients and scale the business to meet the boost in demand. “We’re really excited to have Mark and Dan join the team and bring their impressive operational and analytical leadership to the organization,” says CEO, Robert Henderson. “Their proven expertise will provide JumpCrew with the added capacity for us to deliver new client services products and advance our customer-focused capabilities within our workforce.”
Corley brings a depth of experience in corporate strategy, global marketing, go-to-market transitions, rapid growth, and change management, all focused on scaling businesses. Corley joins JumpCrew from Seattle-based Marchex , where he spearheaded the transformation of the publicly listed legacy call-tracking company, turning it into a modern SaaS business and a leader in marketing analytics and sales enablement. Among his previous roles, Corley served as General Manager at Microsoft Corporation with responsibility for the company’s $1 billion Dynamics division. Prior to that, Corley served as a Partner with KPMG LLP in its High-Tech Consulting business, and as CEO for several companies, including Centrik, a sales-enablement startup, and Netherlands-based mobile software company CWR Mobility. His background in revenue strategies and leadership in running analytical organizations is ideal for JumpCrew at this stage of its growth.
“I am incredibly energized to take on this new role at JumpCrew and contribute to the company’s next phase of growth and scale,” said Corley. “Robert and David have built such an incredible business by pioneering a new outsourced approach leveraging technology to integrate sales and marketing. The delivery teams seamlessly partner with customers on high-value customer acquisition, helping convert leads into customers. And JumpCrew can layer on brand building and demand generation to deliver the kind of optimized leads that the integrated sales teams can close. I am inspired by the foundation that has been put in place and excited to join a team of such consummate professionals.”
George joins JumpCrew through the acquisition of Piper Key LLC, George’s Nashville based HR Analytics consulting firm, bringing JumpCrew the leadership and foundation to incorporate many of the proven methodologies and thought leadership deployed at Piper Key’s clients over the past three and a half years. Piper Key has established itself as a small but premier service provider, partnering with well-known local healthcare clients, global technology name brands, and billion-dollar manufacturing companies. George’s background is founded in people analytics and workforce planning consulting services, which are key components to maximizing the capabilities of JumpCrew’s workforce and business. In addition, George is an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Business where he focuses on teaching students about workforce management and data science related to HR operations.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with many organizations across different industries at varying stages of maturity, and JumpCrew impressed me on multiple levels,” says George. “Their approach to solving client challenges with smart people and analytics fits very well with my principle expertise. The leadership team has cultivated a strong foundational culture that I’m incredibly excited to build on during this next stage of growth. With a data-driven strategy to hire top talent and upskill our workforces’ capabilities, I know we’ll strengthen our reputation as being an employer of choice, and ultimately deliver superior results for our clients.”
