The Opportunity

Beautyblender came to JumpCrew looking to increase organic search, sales, traffic, and awareness.

Our Strategy

JumpCrew approached the problem using the following steps. 

The Audit: First we conduct a technical audit of the company’s site to find opportunities. 

Optimization: Using the findings from the audit, the next step was to optimize beautyblender’s website with a focus on quick wins that would drive sales and website traffic as soon as possible. 

The Major Technical Surprise: One major issue that needed to be resolved was the fact that beautyblender’s new website could not be fully optimized using SEO basics because of the content management platform (CMS). 

No Excuses: JumpCrew’s SEO team realized that they were limited by the technical issues so they focused on increasing the websites conversion rate while implementing the SEO recommendations that the CMS allowed. 

Major Win: Increase the conversion rate: The SEO audit showed that it took five steps to get to a product and then seven steps to check out. The team recommended reducing the steps to check out which garnered dramatic results across all channels not just organic search.
